About the Workshop

Purpose is often framed as something vast, distant, or overwhelming, something we are supposed to “figure out” once and for all. Seeds of Purpose offers a different approach.

Rather than asking “What is my life’s purpose?” In the abstract, this workshop invites participants to explore why they do the small, ordinary things that make up their daily lives. Within these smaller purposes, why we choose certain foods, practices, relationships, creative outlets, or forms of rest, live the seeds of a deeper, more coherent sense of purpose.

By bringing mindful attention to our motivations, attractions, and patterns of devotion, we begin to see what we truly value. What we give our time, energy, and care to; no matter how mundane, reflects who we are and what matters to us. Purpose, in this sense, is not something to be discovered all at once, but something that is revealed through awareness.

Through guided reflection, free writing, dialogue, interactive dyad work, and a grounding meditation, participants explore:

  • The why behind their everyday actions and habits

  • The intentions, past and present, that have shaped their choices

  • What they are naturally drawn toward, and what that reveals about their values

  • How small, consistent acts of attention can point toward a larger sense of meaning

Drawing from both ancient and modern mindfulness practices, Seeds of Purpose emphasizes self-awareness, self-knowledge, and embodied presence as pathways to clarity. The wisdom found in the small and ordinary often illuminates what we are here to do far more clearly than grand, abstract searching.

This interactive workshop is led by Joe Clements of Sit.Feel.Heal. and Thomas Sage Pedersen of Ignite Nexus, who guide participants through reflective practices designed to reconnect mind, body, and intention.

What Participants Leave With

Participants leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of how purpose shows up in everyday life

  • Tools to identify intention and meaning in their daily experiences

  • Greater self-awareness around what they devote their energy to—and why

  • A felt sense of calm, grounding, and presence in both body and mind

Seeds of Purpose is an invitation to soften the pressure around “finding” purpose and instead learn how to notice it already unfolding, one small moment at a time.
